Welcome to Zions Motel

Zions Motel, located at 1829 State St in Salt Lake City, Utah, presents itself as a modest option for travelers seeking basic accommodations. With a rating of 2.7, it stands out not for luxury but for its straightforward appeal and practical amenities such as free Wi-Fi and free parking. The motel is air-conditioned, providing relief from the Utah heat, though it lacks extras like a pool, restaurant, airport shuttle, or fitness center.

The atmosphere at Zions Motel is unpretentious and, by some accounts, eclectic. Guests often remark on the unique mix of patrons populating the motel, which lends a certain raw authenticity to the experience. The staff, notably the manager and night watchman, are known for their helpfulness and vigilance, ensuring a sense of security despite the simplicity of the facilities.

While the rooms may show signs of wear and require a thorough cleaning, there is a charm that can be appreciated by those who visit with tempered expectations. This is no place for luxury seekers but rather for practical travelers, road trippers, or anyone who simply needs a place to rest temporarily. Its proximity to popular brunch spots, diverse global eateries, and Liberty Park makes it a convenient base for visitors wishing to explore the local flavor of Salt Lake City.

In essence, Zions Motel offers an honest and unvarnished experience. It invites a traveler ready to embrace the grit beneath the surface—those who value function over form and find interest in the character of the surroundings. For such travelers, the motel fulfills its purpose quietly but effectively.
